Overview
The SW-757 adds a safety stitch to the standard overlock. The result is a seam that both finishes the edge and locks it with a strong chain stitch — ideal for denim, heavy woven fabrics and garments that take real stress.
If you produce jeans, workwear or heavy cotton garments, the 5-thread machine produces a seam quality that a 4-thread machine cannot match. It is the upgrade for workshops whose products are subjected to heavy wear.
For standard knitwear and light garments, the 4-thread 747D is the more economical choice — the 5-thread only earns its place when seam strength is the requirement.
