Overview
The 747D is a high-speed 4-thread overlock machine. It trims the fabric edge and overcasts it with a neat four-thread seam in one operation — the standard finish on t-shirts, sportswear and most woven garments.
On a production line it sits alongside a lockstitch machine: the lockstitch sews the main seams, the overlock finishes edges and joins stretch panels. If you produce knitwear, this is the first finishing machine to add.
For seams that take real stress — denim and heavy cotton — a 5-thread machine adds a safety stitch on top of the standard overlock.
