Overview

The SW-703 flatlock machine creates flat, elastic seams and coverstitch hems — the finish you see on t-shirt sleeves, underwear and sportswear. Because the seam lies flat against the skin, it is comfortable and professional-looking.

It is the machine to add once your knitwear production moves beyond basic overlocking. A flatlock works alongside an overlock, not instead of it: the overlock finishes edges, the flatlock does hems and decorative topstitching.

For woven garment work, this machine is rarely needed — it is a knitwear-specific investment.

Frequently Asked Questions

What's the minimum order quantity?+

1 unit. Order 1–4 machines and we ship by express courier or LCL sea freight — a full container is optional, not a requirement.

Which voltage will I receive?+

Your machine ships configured for your country's mains supply — we confirm the exact voltage with you before shipping. Available options: 220V, 230V, 240V.

Can I get spare parts later?+

Yes — we keep common parts in stock and can include a spare parts pack with your order, so a worn part never stops your production.

Is a flatlock the same as an overlock?+

No. An overlock trims and overcasts edges; a flatlock creates a flat seam or coverstitch hem. Many knitwear lines use both machines together.

What is it used for?+

T-shirt hems, necklines, underwear and decorative topstitching on knits — the flat, comfortable finish you see on sportswear.
